2020 The Best Productive Year For Artist

Written by Tammy Machmali

The year 2020 was wild and challenging but grounding too.

It was unlike any other year I’ve experienced in my life. On May 1st 2020 I launched my website, while taking all photos with my Samsung 8, editing and writing copy.

I became fully invested in all areas of being a full-time artist.

I learned that being a solopreneur is that you have to be all things. So not only am I an artist, trying to improve my craft and create beautiful work, but I am also a bunch of other things like:

  • Website designer

  • Product developer

  • Shipping manager

  • Inventory manager

  • Photographer

  • Copywriter

  • Editor

  • Managing entire marketing department

  • Brand designer

  • Customer service representative

  • Bookkeeper

  • Social media manager

  • Advertising department

Also, since then, I created 7 collections that I am proud of:

  1. Floral

  2. Spring Minis

  3. Seaside Serenity

  4. Zodiac

  5. Divine Circle of Protection

  6. A Gift Shop

  7. Abstract Relief

And believe me running a small business is a crazy huge amount of work and every day brings new challenges. But, wow, is it rewarding to see it grow and have a community of amazing, loving, kind people support me every little step of the way. In the process I learned why it really does matter to support small businesses.

I love what I do. As a small business don’t get me wrong and every day, I am still in complete gratitude and awe that this is my work.

The remaining of this year, 2021, I hope to regain focus in my work, and find more inspiration again!!!
